Aadikeshava Box Office Collection

Vaisshnav Tej's much-anticipated mass avatar, "Aadikeshava," the film struggled to garner attention and applause upon its release on November 24. Produced by Sithara Entertainments and directed by Srikanth N Reddy, the movie failed to resonate with audiences, resulting in a sluggish start at the box office.

Despite the long weekend advantage, the film's lackluster reception translated into dismal numbers, with an underwhelming box office collection of approximately Rs 2.72 Crore in the first four days across India. The tepid response continued with day-wise collections of Rs 1 Crore, Rs 0.79 Crore, and Rs 0.93 Crore on days one, two, and three respectively, reflecting the film's struggle to engage viewers.

The narrative of "Aadikeshava" revolves around the protagonist, Balakotaiah (Balu), portrayed by Vaisshnav Tej, an individual standing against injustice. Balu's journey unfolds as he discovers a shocking truth about his biological parentage, adding a twist to the tale. Despite a few engaging action sequences, the film failed to impress critics and audiences alike, deemed as a routine story with little narrative innovation.

Sreeleela, essaying the female lead opposite Vaisshnav Tej for the first time, couldn't salvage the film's lackluster reception. Notably, the movie also stars Raadhika Sarathkumar, Joju George, and others in pivotal roles.

Contrarily, while "Aadikeshava" struggled, the simultaneous release, "Kota Bommali PS," a cop drama and a remake of the Malayalam film "Nayattu," garnered favorable word-of-mouth and witnessed an upward trend at the box office.

As the disappointing performance of "Aadikeshava" piques curiosity about Vaisshnav Tej's future projects, industry enthusiasts eagerly await his next move after this underwhelming outing. With the fate of "Aadikeshava" sealed, the spotlight now shifts to Tej's upcoming ventures to gauge his trajectory in the film industry.

The film was backed by Haarika and Hassine Creations, with music composed by GV Prakash Kumar and cinematography by Dudley and Prasad Murella. The editing was handled by Naveen Nooli.

Despite the star-studded cast and a promising premise, "Aadikeshava" failed to strike a chord with audiences, marking a setback in Vaisshnav Tej's cinematic journey.
